Alex Allan is a Responsible Process Engineer for Sellafield Ltd. and has been working on the Sellafield Integrated Waste Strategy since January 2008. In the seven years Alex has beenrnwith Sellafield Ltd., he also worked on the Sellafield Overall Effluent Strategy, the Separation Area Ventilation project, the Sellafield Drypack Plant, and spent a fifteen month secondment at Capenhurst site working as a technical adviser for Waste Management. Alex holds MEng in Chemical & Process Engineering and is a Chartered Engineer. In his spare time he plays the trumpet in various jazz & soul bands and is secretary of the NW Branch of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
