Dr David Deegan is a materials technologist with a first degree from Surrey and a PhD from Bath. He joined Tetronics in 1996 and became Technical Director in 2006. David has recently carried out work for the nuclear power industry on the vitrification of asbestos, PCM and wet ILW, with emphasis on the properties of the final waste-forms. His current interests are in waste reuse and processing, hazardous waste management and metal recovery.
