India trials halted

The US National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, last week confirmed reports that it has postponed some of its roughly 30 clinical trials in India, and has stopped enrolling participants in others. In January, the Indian health ministry tightened regulations on clinical trials.
