"As a former PhD student at Karolinska Institutet, I have always valued the high standard of biomedical research and training. Drawn back to Sweden after a postdoctoral fellowship in the USA, I have been able to form and grow a successful research laboratory, largely due to a strong support from networks within Karolinska Institutet. Today, the infrastructure and environment for conducting cutting-edge research continues to be excellent. The ability to recruit talented students, independent postdoctoral fellows and world-class researchers facilitates my success as a group leader. I value the great freedom and flexibility afforded by Karolinska Institutet and look forward to future growth and collaboration."
