Minimal reduplication and reduplicative exponence

摘要

This paper presents Minimal Reduplication, a theory which analyzes reduplication as an emergent phenomenon. The theory is discussed with special focus on the area of morphophonology. Key claims and architecture are discussed in some detail. Finally a case study of a complex set of reduplicative data is considered in order to illustrate the utility of the theory and how the theory is deployed.
