System monitors truck battery statistics

To help maintain lift truck battery fleets, the iWarehouse fleet optimization system now includes an jBattery module. The module automatically notifies warehouse managers of key battery statistics-including charge/discharge cycles, high and low temperatures, and low battery water levels-to extend battery life and prevent overcharging. The system draws information from on-board computers mounted on the supplier's lift trucks, and can be accessed on the Web.
