Troubled Lincolnshire CC this week begins its search for a new chief executive. Michael Burton talks to the county's interim chief Jan Didrichsen (below), who has been given the task of finding the right person for the top job. After running Hull as acting chief executive for 18 months, prior to retirement last autumn, Jan Didrichsen could have been forgiven for wanting nothing more than tending his roses. Not a bit of it. After 'contacting the usual suspects' for some interim work, he has since resurfaced as acting chief executive at Lincolnshire CC, an authority which has hardly been out of the news in the past two years. His period of tending the roses lasted precisely three weeks.
