A common problem with any restoration work is where to store new and existing body parts for and from the car while the work is being carried out. To avoid damage from dust and sparks, when body repair is underway, new body panels in particular really need to be stored in an area other than the workshop. Some people buy panels as needed but this can be risky with some panels as they may be temporarily unavailable when you do need them. It is also a good idea to study the new panel before cutting away the old one, especially if it is non-genuine or if you have not fitted that particular panel before.
