ReCommunity Upgrades TN MRF

More and more communities are switching their recycling collections over to single-stream. In response, more recycling companies are responding to this need by upgrading their facilities. Earlier this year, ReCommunity retrofitted its Memphis,Tennessee, Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) from dual-stream to single-stream. "Communities are repositioning waste as a strategic community resource instead of a growing liability," said Sean Duffy, ReCommunity President and COO. "Converting to single-stream makes recycling more convenient for residents and more likely to deliver economic, social and environmental impact for the community.
