What are the worst possible national security scenarios confronting America and its future? Former Army officer, author, and policy advisor Andrew Krepinevich offers seven chilling scenarios that are frighten-ingly plausible, several of which actually are occurring right now. Krepinevich does not predict the future; rather, he argues that addressing such deadly scenarios now will allow the U.S. to better prepare an effective response, with decisive action and counteraction, that is proactive and not merely reactive to enemies and circumstances.
