Although the two issues aren't directly related, concerns are being raised again about the use of antibiotics in animals and people, with some scientists believing overuse of antibiotics in humans and animals results in creating bacteria that resist antibiotics.rnBut scientists, doctors, veterinarians and meat and poultry trade associations argue there is no relationship between the two, since antibiotics are not effective against viruses, only bacteria.
