Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam (VER) developed the spuds system for the recently delivered IHC backhoe dredger Alberto Alemdn Zubieta. The complete design, calculations and engineering of the spuds, spud carrier and lifting systems were performed at their Rotterdam office. Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam are experienced designers, not only of spud systems, but other offshore equipment and even complete vessels. For this specific project, VER collaborated closely with IHC Global Production.
