JACKSON OFFSHORE OPTS FOR TWO MORE PLATFORM SUPPLY VESSELS FROM BAE

Jackson Offshore, LLc, has exercised an option to build two more platform supply vessels at BAE Systems' shipyard in Jacksonville, FL. Being built as Jones Act-compliant vessels for the Gulf of Mexico, the two platform supply vessels (PSVs) will each measure 252 feet long and 60 feet wide. BAE Systems' Jacksonville shipyard recently commenced construction on the first of two PSVs as part of the original contract. Those two vessels will be completed in 2015.
