Green gas demand fuels fleet growth

Natural gas usage is projected to more than double between 1997 and 2020, according to Energy Information Administration statistics, reflecting its image as a clean fuel. Global natural gas reserves have more than doubled over the past 20 years, the EIA reports, surpassing the 62% growth in oil reserves; and a more balanced distribution of gas fields throughout the world is noted.
