Cape workshop for Waertsilae

Waertsilae has opened a new engine and propeller workshop in Cape Town, South Africa, which will provide the full range of services to owners and operators of ships with both two- and four-stroke engines. The new facility includes an engine workshop, a propeller workshop and an office, and has 43 skilled employees. The engine workshop has a 10t crane with a lifting height of 6m and during 2008 will be extended with the addition of a fuel injection workshop and a governor workshop.
