TUI AG's Supervisory Board has approved the sale of subsidiary Hapag-Lloyd AG to a Hamburg-led consortium for €4.45Bn. The consortium is led by the city's government and Klaus-Michael Kuehne of logistics group Kuehne 8c Nagel. TUI will remain an active investor in the new company by buying back a 33.33% stake in the new company for €700M.
