I would like to echo the comments of your lead contributor last month (TAUT 1005) on the terrible events in Sandilands in 2016. We must never forget the errors that led to the deaths and injuries, but the bigger tragedy would be if we'd hadn't learned from them. It appears that we have and the steps taken forward by UK tramway operators over the subsequent five years can only be positive. It is also good to hear that the lessons we are learning are being shared with others around the world.
