Gleanings from the 7th International Symposium on Electronic Thesis and Dissertations

Nearly 200 participants traveled from Scotland, the West Indies, the UK, Norway, Pakistan, Australia, Mexico, Sweden, South Africa, Portugal, Germany, The Netherlands, Zimbabwe, Russia, Brazil, Canada, Nigeria, Switzerland, and China to Kentucky's horse country to attend "Distributing Knowledge Worldwide through Better Scholarly Communication: The 7th International Symposium on Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD)". The symposium, held on the campus of the University of Kentucky on June 3-5, 2004, shared the heartland's open, friendly atmosphere with everyone willing to share experiences and provide assistance.
