Coordinating participation in dialogue interpreting

In the last decades, as a result of globalization and mobility of people with different backgrounds and languages, intercultural communication has attracted research interests of many professionals and scholars from different disciplinary fields and from varying foci of this specific kind of communication. This book explores a particular case of intercultural communication: the dialogue mediated by a third person acting as interpreter in social institutions. The so-called 'dialogue-interpreting in interaction and translation' has been the subject of numerous publications in the field of interpretation and translation and has been approached through different branches of language sciences.
