Julie moir messervy, Affiliate ASLA, bridges the divide between the popular and the professional worlds of landscape design while managing to achieve in each. With master's degrees in both architecture and city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she is a highly credentialed designer of both residential gardens and public spaces. Her books, most especially The Inward Garden and more recently Outside the Not So Big House, written in collaboration with architect Sarah Susanka, are read by professionals and the general public alike.
