Effect of End-User Personal and Systems Attributes on computer-Based Information System Success in Malaysian SMEs

The findings of this study suggest that the benefits of computerization can only be effectively reaped when certain con- ditions exist. The conditions are: (1) strong top management support; (2) sophisticated CBIS capabilities; (3) ex- tensive computerization of tasks; (4) easy accessibility to computer facilities; and (5) a more educated end-user. In addition to the above conditions, user satisfaction and systems usage could be enhanced with a higher level of user involvement in CBIS development.
