The London Olympics Association Right (LOAR) is an unusual beast – a time limited, sui generis right designed solely for economic reasons. It was brought to life in all its breadth and glory by the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Act 2006. It is a tool to prevent ambush marketing at the London Olympics. It dies without trace on 31 December 2012.
