Housing America 2007 Events Held Nationwide

On march 21, the Housing America 2007 campaign kicked off with a press event at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. To emphasize the need for a campaign of this nature, NAHRO and its partners released a new Zogby International poll on affordable housing. The poll found that nine out of ten Americans cite affordable housing as a high priority, and more than half believe housing policy with respect to the provision of affordable housing is on the wrong track. One-third of respondents cited having a decent, affordable place to live as their number one priority.
