HUD has posted to its website guidance for agencies regarding Year 3 Stop-Loss Submissions. The guidance clarifies a number of issues for Year 1 and Year 2 agencies, as well. For example, the materials state that "the Department plans to notify all Year 1 submissions of their approval/denial by September 30, 2008." The guidance also specifies the options available to agencies whose Year 1 submission is denied, regardless of whether the agencies submitted a Year 2 abbreviated application.
