Food is one of the most perishable materials on the planet. It is processed to deliver long shelf-life for safer consumption by humans. The food market is becoming incredibly diversified and indeed very colourful. Numerous food products in the market today are not made directly from a single raw (natural) material. Many products on the supermarket shelves are manufactured from mixing and intelligent (often scientific in these days) processing operations with a large number of food ingredients (sentence unclear).
