DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTERISTICS OF INDUSTRIAL ECOLOGICAL ECONOMY UNDER THE BACKGROUND OF LOW CARBON ECONOMY

Industry is not only the main field of carbon emission, but also the main factor of regional ecological environment. In order to achieve the goal of sustainable development, this paper studies the development of industrial ecological economy under the background of low-carbon economy, and analyses its characteristics. On the basis of existing research, this paper selects industrial energy consumption, industrial energy consumption intensity, industrial carbon dioxide emission, industrial carbon dioxide emission intensity and industrial carbon productivity to analyse the characteristics of low-carbon evolution in three stages of industrial economic development. The results show that the intensity of industrial energy consumption and carbon dioxide emission in China will decrease in the next decade. Carbon production capacity will be improved year by year, and energy utilisation rate will be greatly improved. Although the energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions are large, they are developing towards low-carbon direction.
