The low-carbon economy has become the current trend of economic development. In the pro- cess of building a free trade port and "three districts and one center", Hainan must accelerate the devel- opment of a low-carbon economy. At present, Hai- nan Province has achieved certain achievements in the development of low-carbon economy, but there is still great potential. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the development of low-carbon economy in Hainan is studied based on ecological theory. Low-carbon economy, thus promoting the construction of Hai-nan Free Trade Port and the construction of Hai- nan's "three districts and one center".
