With the rise of global information, the interpersonal interaction is no longer subject to time and space, so many people can take advantage of this convenience to learn a variety of knowledge. The Internet era has changed the way people live. Social media has become a channel for information dissemination that people often use. It is easy to not only interact with others through social media but also maintain personal relationships. In this study, an experimental design model was used for experimental research. A total of 252 students from a university in Jiangsu Province were selected as experimental subjects for a 15-week three-hour experimental teaching study. It was found that: (1) The social media-assisted teaching environment has a significant impact on music learning outcomes; (2) Digital media collaborative learning has a significant impact on music learning outcomes; (3) The social media-assisted teaching environment combined with digital media collaborative learning has a significant impact on music learning outcomes. Based on the results, suggestions are made to strengthen students passion for participation, so that experience and information are continuously accumulated, updated and innovated, and music education learning can become more effective.
