Home appliances that fall in the category of white goods remain on the rise, especially in emerging countries. For this reason, Japanese appliance manufacturers have been aggressive in beefing up their sales activities, particularly in markets outside Japan. Japanese makers already have a good reputation in countries in Southeast Asia, and for this reason, they will also strengthen their focus in China, India, and Russia in the future. They have also reinforced their respective overseas production bases in order to build a system for local production and consumption.
