Haier Optimizes TV Lineup With New Technologies, Functions

Haier Co., Ltd. highlighted at the recent 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2011) its wide range of TV innovations, to include light-emitting diode (LED) TVs, three-dimensional (3D) TVs, Internet-connected TVs, among others. At the sidelines of the show, Haier introduced the Net Connect Series of Internet-enabled TVs, which adopt LED backlight. The company also announced at the show that it had chosen Yahoo! Inc. as its new content provider partner. The Net Connect Series is equipped with several features, including Wi-Fi capability, and comes in 42-, 46-, and 55-inch models.
