The Structure of Post Keynesian Economics: The Core Contributions of the Pioneers

In order to understand the development of Post Keynesian economics we need to go back to its origins in the mid-1930s. This book returns to the initial developments of what was called Post Keynesian (PK) economics to evaluate how the economists who were involved in its development worked and how they interacted to provide an alternative to mainstream theory. This effort produced three revolutions in economic theory - effective demand, imperfect competition and capital theory - developed by economists who were working in the Cambridge tradition.
