Roughness of Multivariable Systems with Reduced Dimension Observers

The problem of synthesis of "rough" regulators for a multivariable system is considered by using reduced dimension observers in the control law. Tests for roughness are formulated, and an algorithm for asymptotic adjustment of parameters that ensures the validity of these tests is proposed on the basis of the known procedures guaranteeing stability. An example that demonstrates the possibilities of the approach proposed is presented.
