We are pleased to present the last special issue in the series "Extending Naturalistic Decision Making: Reaching Across Domains, Disciplines, and Applications." This volume explores the theory underlying intuitive cognition as well as methods of examining complex cognition, and it highlights the application of naturalistic decision making (NDM) constructs in research on health care, military decision making, and sports.
