The structure and electrochemical properties of the La_(0.7)Mg_(0.3)Ni_(3.5) alloys laser sintered at different powers were investigated. It is found that all alloys contain three phases La_3MgNi_(14) with the Ce_2Ni_7 structure, LaNi_5 and LaMgNi_4. The
