In the first part of What Would Google Do? Jeff Jarvis introduces us step by step to the new world as he sees it. Relationships, organizational architecture, norms of society and economy, business reality and ethics, speed and imperatives of life - everything has changed and should be reconsidered. Indeed, the book opens with the story of a single blog message that changed the strategy of a whole company and maybe even the lives of thousands of its customers. As the author claims, this is the symbol of the time: the voice of a single person now matters; we are no longer a mass or a crowd. We are active users, generators of ideas and creators of the world around us. In other words, here comes the world Andy Warhol predicted in 1968, where anybody can be famous for 15 minutes.
