Medco, Kogas sign CBM MoU

Indonesia's Medco Energi Internasional signed a memorandum of understanding to develop its coal bed methane business with Korea Gas Corporation, a senior official said March 15. Both companies will jointly identify and study the best possibilities in implementing projects that can monetize and add value to CBM, including business opportunities in CBM-related industries, such as liquefied natural gas, pipeline gas and dimethyl ether, Medco Energi Internasional's president director Lukman Mahfoedz.
