Total reduces Kharyaga stake

France’s Total has agreed to transfer a 20% stake andrnoperatorship of the Kharyaga oilfield in northwest Russia tornstate-owned Zarubezhneft, following months of speculationrnthat it would reduce its involvement in the project afterrnfailing to meet associated gas utilization targets andrndelaying construction of a gas processing unit there.
