Investors turned up in numbers for germany's 30-year inflation-linked bond last week despite severe Bund volatility, in what bankers said was a vote of confidence for eurozone inflation prospects and for the European economy. The Triple A rated sovereign on Tuesday priced a €2.5bn 0.10% April 2046 benchmark, a deal that was more than twice covered with the order book hitting €5.7bn from 97 investors, including €950m of joint lead manager orders. "Being able to place a bond in a market where Bunds move 10bp either way on an intraday basis is a great result," said one SSA syndicate official.
