Financials dominated the investment-grade bond market last week, and morgan stanley outdid them all, with a US$5.5bn transaction that included a rare offering of 30-year bank paper. The deal was the biggest in a week in which 14 issuers priced US$21.75bn, just inside the US$20bn-$25bn expected. So far, US$75.25bn has been priced in January, well below the US$110bn first expected and with only one more week to go.
