Fed adds fuel to Asian bonds

G3 bond sales from Asia slowed ahead of last week's expected rise in US interest rates, before a dovish slant from the Federal Reserve raised hopes for another wave of international financings from the region. Around US$3bn of Asian dollar paper was printed last week ahead of the Fed announcement, with bocom financial leasing netting US$2bn alone, but such was the pace of recent weeks that it felt sedate.
