Construction of powerhouse cavern of Dhauliganga H.E. project, stage-Ⅰ

In an exercise involving underground excavation of such magnitudes with tight schedules and logistic constraints and involvement of number of agencies, 'key to success' lies in development of healthy working relationship among all. Further the design team and field team need to appreciate each others role and constraints. Last but not the least it is the seriousness of viewing the schedule from the 'day one' which matters in the end.
