The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the US Green Building Council (USGBC) will work together to accelerate the green building movement in the country by encouraging technology transfer and entrepreneurship. This association will entail training about 10,000 accredited green building professionals, encourage entrepreneurship in green building materials and work to create a Green Fund. The focus of this initiative is to strengthen and consolidate the movement towards use of materials that are environment friendly and gradually become cost-effective.
