fib symposium 2012 - Call for papers

摘要

The fib symposium will be held in June 2012 at Stockholm, Sweden. The Symposium Theme is "Concrete Structures for Sustainable Community". Concrete has a double role in building the sustainable community. First, concrete is the most frequently used man-made construction material and, second, concrete structures have a potential to obtain a very long life-span. To produce concrete structures with a minimum environmental footprint is basic, but it is even more important to use and develop its many beneficial properties to utilize its full potential during the service-life. Life-cycle costs and life-cycle analyses are important tools when considering a holistic perspective and these have also to cover issues like maintenance, repair, strengthening, dismantling, and recycling into account.
