Adaptive testing system based on decision tree

摘要

This paper proposed the item selection method based on the Decision Tree. The proposed method is available not for only local independent structure but network structure. Furthermore, the six categorization methods for the ability parameters, which are the means to place the examinee's sore on the ability scale were compared.The results show the best method is the categorization method that categorizes the examinee standard scores derived from item standard scores based on assuming the distributions of the scores are normal distributions and places the categorized scores on the ability scale.
