It is my proud privilege and great pleasure to welcome you all on behalf of IASLIC to this inaugural function of the twenty-first National Seminar on the topic 'Information Support for Rural Development'. This year IASLIC steps into fifty years of glorious service in the field of Library and Information science in India.
