Integrated design practice Snohetta (with offices in Oslo, Norway, New York, San Francisco, and Austria) is crafting South Korea's Busan Opera House, slated to debut in 2020. Located on reclaimed land on the city's waterfront, the dynamic structure's layout references the meeting of heaven, earth, and water. A triangular front is wrapped with a semi-transparent geometric skin with views into the lofty foyer, and the building is topped with a walkable rooftop.
