Modeling FMS Using Rule-based Object-oriented Petri Net

摘要

In this paper, a Rule-based Object-oriented Petri Net (ROPN) for FMS modeling is pre- sented throuth analysis of FMS components and their characteristics. The advantages of tra- ditional Petri net and object-oriented technology are combined, and the scheduling decision- making rules in FMS modeling are also considered. The results reveal that ROPN provides an effective and efficient tool for analyzing, designing and scheduling FMS.
