摘要

This paper presents a colored timed object-oriented Petri net (CTOPN) approach, which owns the characteristics of Petri nets and object-oriented approach (e.g., the high degree of modularity, reusability, and maintainability of the model), to model the dynamic behavior of a FMS by considering the characteristics of concurrent behavior, alternative routings, resource sharing and conflicts in a FMS. In this paper, we will introduce the concept of a CTOPN, the procedure of developing a CTOPN-based FMS model, and a CTOPN-based FMS scheduling simulator which has been successfully implemented in a FMS developed by the local industry in Taiwan.
