Conference report A new forum for the discussion of hot topics in transport management attracted an avid audience, not least from the petrochemical sector around the host city of Houston. Rainer Brunssen reports. The first International Transportation Management (ITM) conference and exhibition took place this past March 20 to 22 at the University of Houston. The organisers, TranSystems Advisors and Informa M&T, appear to have hit on a much-needed forum as delegates and speakers were very glad to have the opportunity to network with colleagues from around the world.
