BC Partners-controlled Brachem Acquisition, the majority owner of Brenntag, has sold 30 per cent of its stake in the German-headquartered chemical distributor to institutional investors in an accelerated book building process. Accordingly, the free float has increased from close to 30 per cent to more than 50 per cent.
